We’ve all heard the saying, “everything old is new again”. What most cannot accept is the fact that we are like hamsters on spinning wheels, running until it is no longer fun and running for no reason at all.
In its simplest form, the timeless universe allows us to relive experiences from our past and those experiences, those projections from memory, are no less real than they were when they were first inflicted on us.
Pick up any old newspaper. It could be a year old, or it could be 40 years’ old. You will notice not only the same patterns, but the same stories. Firefighters in California. Teachers complaining. Existential threats popping up continually. And you begin to realize that none of it is real.
American culture has taken us from the Salem witch trials to the McCarthy Hearings, to the protection of a fascist country in the Baltics.
We always are at war.
One thing has become apparent since Operation Mockingbird and AI have taken control of the media: we no longer have any idea what is going on. Hopefully, some venture capitalist will begin the Lyceum Lectures again. The success of Trump’s rallies prove that people have a need for community and truth.
Let’s pray that both of these things return to America before the next wave of revolutions sweep us away.
Time is the measurement of space; so it is not natural but human made. Remove man and you remove time.
