Have you ever asked yourself why it seems instinctual for humans to be frightened of snakes.
Never mind. It’s not important maybe.
I’m writing to follow up on an essay I wrote nearly a year ago after consulting the I CHING.
Today I asked the oracle what would happen in the USA once Joe Biden leaves office.
(I’m of the opinion that his handlers might invent a reason he cannot debate one month from today or else he will collapse shortly afterwards and be yanked by July)
To make a long story short, I threw the coins and got the following gua:

The top one is #44 (Xun) aka “wind”
the bottom one is #50 (Li) aka “fire”
There is only one moving line and that is line #5 which becomes yang.
They join together and form Hexagram #50 “Establishing the New”.
The overall sense that Taoist Master Alfred Huang can conclude (from his THE COMPLETE I CHING) is spelled out on page 398 of his 10th anniversary translation.
CONCLUSION

Supreme Good Fortune
Prosperous and smooth
What was I thinking? I didn't complete my essay before posting it. For those of you unfortunate enough to have gotten this "first draft", I finished the thing this morning. Sorry.
