The Electric State is a tabletop art book by Simon Stalenhag that tells the story of a young girl’s journey across a ruined America. To say the artwork is magnificent is an understatement. It reminds me, somehow, of Edward Hopper’s NIGHTHAWKS; but it has the added dimension of being a science fiction / horror story.

The reader is left to figure everything out. Maybe, when Netflix finally broadcasts the movie, it will all make sense to me. In the meantime, it remains a mystery (with some reviewers insisting that the robot who accompanies her is actually her brother - following multiple surgeries).

This much is known: the world has been devastated by a war fought by drones.

I was reminded of the book by reading how the air over Ukrainian battlefields is filled with NATO-supplied drones.

I would write more, but I am not well.

I hope you enjoy it. Considering what an amazing book it is, the price is minimal. How much more terror can we experience before going crazy? Time will tell.

All I know is that Amerika is trying very hard to eliminate Russia and Vladimir Putin before November and the mass murders just conducted in Russia seem much more like the work of the Victoria Nuland types than Muslims. Why would Muslims choose to commit this atrocity? Probably for the same reason they destroyed the Nordstream Pipeline.

Interestingly, of all the world leaders who have expressed concern for Russia, Anthony Blinken is notably absent.

We live in an insane world where Amerika is pressuring NATO to join them in our quest for world domination. The question remains: Will the BRICS allow it? The success of drones in destroying much of Russia’s Crimean Navy fleet shows that America’s dependence on expensive and technically sophisticated weapons is 20th Century warfare and we cannot count on any of our vaunted aircraft carriers and Stealth Aircraft to be successful in the future.
