We’ve been expecting big things to happen for many years (and they do, but hardly the right ones). We the people will most likely need to create the changes we wish to see by being the changes we wish to see. Change of the right kind is often slow and frustrating.

I get the impression that many of the participants here on Substack.com are boomers or those approaching retirement age and regretting they aren't boomers. Personally, I am preparing for the inevitable by meditating on the chasm I will soon fall into en route to becoming pure energy.

Outside of that, I keep loaded weapons at every entrance to my house and attempt to stay alert.

No such luck. It will end with a mumble and a wet pile of poop in Brandon's bed. Thanks to the New Improved Iran Treaty, Russia will have all the enriched uranium and will hand it over to China for its inevitable invasion of Taiwan. Dr. Jill will finally suffocate Brandon with a pillow and his last accidental bowel movement will be smelled around the world.
