I don’t always post crap on Substack, but when I do, it’s good crap.
So, here we are, ankle deep in the Final Battle between good and evil.
It was shocking to hear the Puppet responding to Hamas like a real POTUS. Considering the fact that Victoria Nuland and Barack Hussein Obama are still running our nation into the ground, it was baffling to hear the old gangster say what most people in the USA believe. I wonder if FJB will follow the lead of the EU and stop funding Hamas?
But that’s not why I’m writing.
I’m writing to report that two months after rampaging Dinos destroyed my 35-yr-old Japanese Juniper bonsai tree, I have replaced it with an Oriental Elm. A couple of my Substack heroes have begun sharing nice pictures of their homes and cats. I’m afraid that too many are stuck in the morass of negativity that has ruined the world. That being said, https://substack.com/@lionessofjudah rocks. Before this week, I was always afraid to “buy a cup of coffee” for any of my fellow Substackers because I’d never heard of Ko Fi. But I’ve learned that it’s safe and an affordable way to support great writing without committing to 52 weeks of reading the same thing over and over again. When the Lioness speaks, people should listen.
I decided to ask the I CHING what we can expect from the latest monstrous act by Muslims. I threw a hexagram and this is what came of it: The first hexagram was #53 (Jian - “developing gradually”) and the second was #20 (Guan - “watching”). The only changing line was the fourth Yang which, of course, became Yin.
What appeared at first glance to be an unstable hexagram, built on a shaky Yin foundation, turned out to be disappointingly ambivalent. I’m not one to criticize the Ching, but, really, is the world’s transitioning from “developing gradually” to “watching” really much to talk about?
I don’t think so. Maybe I need a different translation.
Maybe it’s time for me to declare myself a Deist.
I did that years ago. A professor of theology at a local university tells me that Deism is where intellectuals end up short of taking a leap of faith. I had thought that Deism WAS a leap of faith.
