Nice surprise would be not so lawless after all.

There may be more truth than poetry in this, Charles. Eagerly awaiting the trip to the lawless lands.

Hang onto your hat, Bert. This will be my third visit in 50 years. I hope my memory still holds a picture or two.

If you can make it to Red Lodge, Montana, stay at the Pollard. And then you can drive to the Tippet Rise Art Gallery in Fishtail or drive through the Beartooth Mountains. Good Times.

Looks like a great place but for now with all the new Grandkids it's only kiddie vacations.

You mean there's not a vast void between NYC and the Left Coast?

Yes there is. It is called Kansas (sometimes known as Nebraska). However, if you can keep your sanity while driving west through these states, there are great times to be had in the lawless zone.

On the other hand, if you are driving east from Colorado, you are driving into a terrible traffic storm on the other side of the flatlands.
